Glazed Lemon Knots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    2 (8 oz.) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
    1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients in a small bowl. Mix well and set aside.
    Separate roll dough into 8 rectangles; press perforations to seal. Spread about 2 teaspoons of cheese mixture over each rectangle. Roll dough, jelly roll fashion, starting at long side. Stretch dough slightly; tie in a loose knot.
    Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Combine powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and serve.
    Yields 8 rolls.
