Zieh Kuechla - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. warm water
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. softened shortening
    4 1/2 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Combine water, yeast and sugar.
    Add salt and 2 cups flour. Beat 2 minutes with electric mixer or rotary beater.
    Add eggs and shortening.
    Beat for 1 minute.
    Blend in 4 1/2 cups sifted flour and stir until dough is formed.
    Let rest for 20 minutes.
    This makes dough easier to handle.
