Single Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
2 to 3 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation

Combine flour and salt in a mixing bowl.
Cut in Crisco with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture is uniform.
Sprinkle with water, 1 tablespoon at a time; toss lightly with fork.
Form into a ball.
Roll out dough on floured surface to a circle 1/8-inch thick and about 1 1/2-inches larger than inverted plate.
Ease dough into pie pan.
Trim and flute edges.
