Raspberry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. Crisco or oleo
    1 egg, well beaten
    3/4 c. raspberry jam
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix flour with sugar and salt.
    Cut in Crisco or oleo until it looks like coarse meal.
    Add well beaten egg.
    Mix until blended. Chill slightly.
    Press 3/4 of mixture in ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Spread on jam and nuts.
    Top with remaining crumb mixture. Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until brown.
