Ingredients

1 3/4 c. rye flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. milk
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
3 tsp. baking powder
2 egg yolks, beaten
1/2 c. oil (canola)
Preparation

Sift together all dry ingredients.
Mix egg yolks and milk and add to dry mixture.
Fold in egg whites, leaving a few fluffs. Cook according to waffle maker instructions.
Makes 3 (10-inch) waffles.
