Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. molasses
1/4 c. melted fat
Preparation

Sift together the dry ingredients.
Add milk to beaten egg. Pour into dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
Stir in molasses and fat.
Pour batter into greased, shallow pan (about 8-inch square).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
