Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter
    2 lb. beef tenderloin
    pepper
    1 c. sour cream
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Melt 3 tablespoons butter in a heavy skillet.
    Add onion and cook slowly until transparent.
    Remove and set aside.
    Cut beef in 1 x 2 1/2-inch strips.
    Turn head to medium-high and cook briefly, turning to brown on all sides.
    Remove beef and set aside with onion.
    Add remaining 3 tablespoons butter to skillet.
    Stir in mushrooms; cover and cook 3 minutes.
    Season with pepper and nutmeg.
    Whisk sour cream and add to pan; do not allow it to boil. Return beef and onion to pan and just heat through.
