Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. yellow cornmeal
1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg beaten
3/4 c. milk
1 small onion finely chopped
Oil for deep fat frying

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together. Drop by teaspoonfuls into oil. Fry until golden brown.
