Foolproof And Fabulous Purim Hamentashen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. milk
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    fill with apricot, raspberry, prune, poppy seed or other similar preserves
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add vanilla, egg and milk.
    Mix.
    Stir in rest and blend.
    Refrigerate dough 1 hour.
    Roll out onto floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cut into 3-inch circles.
    Place teaspoon of desired preserves in center of each round.
    Fold three sides over, pinching edges together to form a triangle.
    Bake on lightly greased baking sheet in 350\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden.
    Yield:
    2 dozen.
