Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed enough to separate
    3/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 can creamy chicken mushroom soup
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    corn flake crumbs (to cover top)
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, 1/2 cup butter, onion, soup, sour cream, cheese, salt and pepper.
    Spoon into greased casserole and cover with corn flake crumbs.
    Spoon remaining 1/4 cup butter over top. Bake at 300\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes until ingredients are hot and bubbly throughout.
