Butterless, Eggless, Milkless Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. cold water
1 c. seedless raisins
3/4 c. lard
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. candied fruits
1/2 c. nutmeats, chopped
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. molasses
Preparation

Put first 8 ingredients together in saucepan and boil 3 minutes.
Let cool, then add candied fruits, chopped nutmeats, flour, baking powder and soda, dissolved in a little hot water and molasses.
Put in a well-greased and floured cake pan.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven between 30 and 45 minutes.
