Beef Stroganoff(Low-Fat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak, cubed
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1 c. white wine
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3/4 c. Land O Lakes no-fat sour cream
    1/2 tsp. dried tarragon
    cornstarch or flour to thicken
Preparation
    Saute beef cubes in pan sprayed with nonstick coating (Pam). Add 1 cup water, wine, garlic and soup mix. Bring to a boil and simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Add mushrooms and tarragon; simmer 10 to 15 minutes until mushrooms are tender. Thicken with flour or cornstarch.
    Remove from heat. Add sour cream. Stir until blended. Serve over rice or noodles.
