Aunt Nez'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    8 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening with sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add flour and eggs alternately.
    Add salt and flavorings.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
