Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp. shortening
orange juice
1 c. cranberries
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. water, hot
Preparation

Combine and mix thoroughly:
flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and baking soda.
Add egg, shortening and hot water; add orange juice to make total of 3/4 cup liquid.
Add cranberries and nuts. Pour into greased loaf pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
