Frosted Ham Salad Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground pork
    1 lb. ground, smoked ham
    3 whole eggs
    1/2 lb. cracker crumbs
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. stuffed olives, sliced
    6 c. water
    1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine meat, eggs, cracker crumbs, pepper and olives.
    Shape into round loaf.
    Place in a small sack or square of white cloth with ends tied.
    Combine hot water and vinegar.
    Bring to a rolling boil.
    Place loaf on a rack in boiling liquid.
    Boil slowly for 2 hours over low or medium heat.
    Remove loaf from cloth.
    Chill.
