Norwegian Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. shortening
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. sour milk
Preparation

Cut first four ingredients like pie crust until tiny crumbs appear, then take out 3/4 cup and set aside for the topping of the cake.
Now add to the first mixture egg, sour milk and baking soda. Put cake in greased pan and sprinkle \"crumbs\" on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until done.
