Bible Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. fine flour (1 Kings 4:22)
    1 c. butter (Judges 5:25)
    2 c. dark syrup (Jeremiah 6:20)
    2 c. raisins or figs (1 Samuel 30:12)
    2 Tbsp. honey (1 Samuel 14:25)
    6 eggs (Jeremiah 17:11)
    1/2 c. milk (Judges 4:19)
    2 tsp. baking powder (Amos 4:5)
    spices to taste (2 Chronicles 9:9)
Preparation
    Cream butter and syrup.
    Add beaten eggs, milk, honey and raisins or figs.
    Add flour into which baking powder has been well mixed.
    Add spices of your choice.
    Bake as for fruit cake in a 10-inch tube pan, 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
