Cheese And Bacon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
10 slices crisp cooked bacon, crumbled
1/3 c. minced onion
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese (about 4 oz.)
4 eggs
2 c. heavy or light cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
dash of ground red pepper
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Sprinkle bacon, onion and cheese in bottom of unbaked pie shell.
Beat eggs slightly; beat in remaining ingredients.
Pour into pie shell.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1-inch from edge comes out clean.
Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting into wedges.
Can be served as an appetizer or a main dish.
