Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. macaroni
    margarine or butter
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    1/4 lb. cheese, shredded
    1 small onion, minced
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    2 c. milk
    3/4 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Place onion and 2 tablespoons butter in a small pan. Cook until tender. Stir in flour, salt, mustard and pepper.
    Cook for 1 minute. Slowly stir in milk and cook, stirring until smooth.
    Add 3/4 of the cheese.
    Pour macaroni in a dish.
    Pour cheese sauce over macaroni. Top with remaining cheese.
    In a pan over low heat, melt 1 tablespoon margarine.
    Stir this into the bread crumbs and sprinkle this over the cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes in a 400\u00b0 oven.
