Mamie'S Fish Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fish (in 1-inch pieces)
    3 diced bacon slices
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 1/2 c. diced potatoes
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    parsley sprigs
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Add onion.
    Cook until tender. Add potatoes, water, seasonings and fish.
    Cover; cook slowly for 15 to 20 minutes until potatoes are tender.
    Blend in milk and butter.
    Cook until heated.
    Garnish with parsley sprigs.
