Kraut 'N Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 (1 1/2-inch thick) pork chops, seasoned
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can sauerkraut
    1 c. tomato juice
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Season pork chops; brown lightly on both sides.
    Stir in sauerkraut into tomato juice.
    Arrange a mound of kraut on top of each chop.
    Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon brown sugar.
    Cover; cook slowly on top of stove for 40 to 50 minutes or until chops are tender.
    Baste with tomato juice several times while cooking.
