Sausage-Cheese Breakfast Souffle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. sausage
    6 slices bread, crusts removed
    soft butter
    1 1/2 c. shredded Longhorn or Swiss cheese
    5 eggs
    2 c. half and half
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Brown sausage and drain.
    Set aside.
    Butter bread and place in a 9 x 12-inch baking dish, buttered side down.
    Layer sausage, then cheese over bread. Combine remaining ingredients and beat well.
    Pour over the sausage and cheese; refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
    Serves 6.
