Old World Style Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. bacon, diced
3 lb. beef, cut into cubes
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. tomato puree
2 tsp. beef base or granules
2 medium onions, sliced
2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 drop Tabasco sauce
5 to 6 juniper berries
2 cans beer
Preparation

Cook bacon until half done; drain excess fat.
Saute onions with bacon until transparent.
Add beef and saute until all red is gone.
Add minced garlic and flour until all flour is absorbed. Add remaining ingredients.
Stir and bring to a boil.
Mix well, being careful that nothing sticks to bottom of pan.
Reduce heat and let simmer 45 to 60 minutes until meat is tender or bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour until meat is tender.
