Marinated Mushrooms And Artichoke Hearts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. frozen artichoke hearts
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme
    2 lb. small mushrooms
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1 clove garlic, halved
    1/2 tsp. peppercorns
    1/2 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Cook artichokes until just tender and drain. Slice mushrooms in half through the stems. Combine with artichokes. Combine water with vinegar, oil, garlic, salt, pepper and herbs.
    Add vegetables and toss lightly.
    Refrigerate, covered. Stir occasionally.
    Leave overnight.
    Drain before serving.
    Makes 16 to 20 servings.
