Caramel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1 c. butter, softened
    3 c. flour (plain)
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    4 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar well.
    Add egg yolks.
    Sift flour and baking powder together.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Alternate flour and milk into creamed mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Bake in two (9-inch) pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
    This cake can also be baked in a loaf pan.
