Toasty Cheese Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf French bread (12 inches long)
    1/3 c. butter
    1 (5 oz.) jar sharp spreading cheese
Preparation
    Cut loaf in half lengthwise horizontally.
    Cut each half in 2-inch diagonal slices, cutting to, but not through, bottom crust. Place on baking sheet.
    Blend butter and cheese.
    Spread between slices and over top.
    Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) until cheese is melted and bread is crusty, about 15 minutes.
    Serve immediately.
