Mother'S Fluffy Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. brown sugar
    1 c. shortening
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. cocoa
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Cream
    together brown sugar and shortening.
    Add 3 eggs (one at a time).
    Mix cocoa with enough water to form a paste. Add flour,
    baking soda, and cold water.
    Bake in greased and floured pan.
    Layers
    30 to 35 minutes; 13 x 9-inch pan 50 to 55 minutes at 350\u00b0.
