Parkerhouse Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 level tsp. Rumford baking powder
    2 level tsp. sugar
    1/2 level tsp. salt
    2 level Tbsp. Crisco or lard
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix as for Rumford Biscuit (see recipe).
    Roll to 1/3-inch thickness; cut with a round or oval cutter and crease in the center with the handle of a case knife (table) first dipped in flour.
    Brush 1/2 with melted butter and fold over.
    Put on a pan 1/2-inch apart and bake in a quick (about 400\u00b0) oven for 15 minutes.
