Turtle Cake Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramel (about 50 squares)
    1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 stick butter, melted
    1 box German Chocolate cake mix
    1 c. finely chopped nuts
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt caramels and 1/4 cup milk in heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly; or melt this mixture in a microwave for 3 minutes, stirring after every minute. Set aside.
