Peppered Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 round tenderized steak, cut in small pieces
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 large can tomatoes
    1 medium green pepper, sliced
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. ground ginger
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 can beef consomme
Preparation
    Brown meat in hot oil.
    Stir in tomatoes and green pepper. Add soy sauce and seasonings.
    Cover; cook for 10 minutes.
    Blend cornstarch with consomme; stir into meat mixture.
    Cover; simmer for 10 minutes.
    Serve over hot rice.
