Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake - cooking recipe

3 c. unsifted flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. real mayonnaise
1 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and lightly flour baking pans. Sift together dry ingredients into a large bowl.
Stir in mayonnaise.
Gradually stir in water and vanilla until smooth and well blended.
Pour into prepared pans.
Bake about 30 minutes or until cake springs back when touched.
Cool in pans 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove from pans.
Frost when completely cool.
Makes 3 (8-inch) layers.
