Pork Chop Pyramids - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 pork chops (1/2 to 1-inch)
3 large onions, sliced
2 cans tomato sauce
1 green pepper, sliced
1 small box Minute rice
salt and pepper
1 clove garlic (optional)
Preparation

Flour pork chops and brown lightly in another skillet.
Saute sliced onions until tender.
Prepare rice according to box directions.
Place chops in electric skillet or Dutch oven.
Top chops with green pepper slices, sauteed onions, minced garlic and season to taste.
Pile rice on top in pyramids.
Dilute tomato sauce with equal parts of water and pour around the chops.
Simmer slowly for 2 to 3 hours, basting occasionally.
