Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large white onion
2 bags frozen broccoli
2 sticks margarine
2 pt. half and half
1 tsp. thyme
1/4 c. green onion, chopped
1 can chicken broth
2 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Cook the broccoli 1 hour and drain. Saute onion and margarine until clear and add green onion and chicken broth.
Cook until boiling. Put cornstarch in small bowl and add a little half and half until cornstarch is blended.
Add remaining amount of half and half to onion, margarine and chicken broth.
Add broccoli, cornstarch mixture.
Season to taste.
Add thyme and cook until it thickens.
