Scotch Cream Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. butter
    1/2 c. light cream
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cut in butter and add cream.
    Knead 5 minutes on lightly floured surface and roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut into small triangles.
    Place on lightly greased baking sheet.
    Bake in hot oven (450\u00b0) for 10 to 15 minutes or until light brown.
    Makes about 12 scones.
