Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. creamy peanut butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/4 c. light brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 3/4 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Combine peanut butter, shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla.
    Beat at medium speed.
    Add egg and beat. Combine flour, salt and baking soda.
    Add to creamed mixture. Mix until blended.
    Drop by tablespoonful onto ungreased baking sheet.
    Flatten in crisscross pattern.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 7 to 8 minutes.
    Cool 2 minutes, then remove from pan.
    Yields 3 dozen cookies.
