Romano Green Bean Pasta Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. mostaccioli or elbow macaroni
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1 Tbsp. oil (olive)
    1 can Italian stewed tomatoes
    1 small can tomato sauce
    1 can (14.5 oz.) cut green beans and liquid
    1 c. shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation
    Cook pasta; drain.
    In skillet, cook onion, mushrooms and basil in oil until onion is tender.
    Add tomatoes and tomato sauce and cook, uncovered, over medium-high heat.
    Stir in pasta, green beans and 1/2 cup cheese.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Pour into baking dish (8 x 12-inch) and top with remaining cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until heated through.
