Beef And Potato Mix - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. round steak, cut into strips
1/3 c. oil
2 c. water
4 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 c. vinegar
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. ground allspice
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 stick cinnamon
3 cloves garlic, minced
4 onions, sliced 1/4-inch thick
2 c. green pepper
3/4 lb. fresh mushrooms
1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. water
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
6 c. hot seasoned mashed potatoes
paprika (for top)
Preparation

Brown steak in hot oil, add next 14 ingredients.
Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
Add mushrooms, cook another 35 minutes. Remove cinnamon sticks, combine flour and 3/4 cup water in jar. Shake.
Stir in stew, cook until thickened.
Pour into 4-quart casserole dish.
Stir Parmesan cheese into hot mashed potatoes. Spoon potatoes around casserole.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
