Layered Spinach Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    fresh spinach
    fresh mushrooms
    mild onions
    frozen tiny peas
    1/4 c. bacon bits
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Wash spinach; tear into bite size pieces.
    Drain well.
    Slice mushrooms and onions.
    Beginning with spinach, layer in large salad bowl.
    Add a layer of frozen peas.
    Bacon bits may be added next, or if you prefer them crunchy, sprinkle on top before serving.
    Mix the sour cream and mayonnaise; spread over top, sealing completely to the edges.
    Sprinkle grated cheese over top. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
