Enpanadas(A Mexican Baked Pastry) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 c. shortening
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. anise
    sugar to taste
    warm water
Preparation
    Mix ingredients thoroughly; add water until a firm dough is reached.
    Make biscuit size patties and roll out.
    Fill with filling and fold in half, pressing edge with fingers or fork. Bake on cookie sheet in oven at 350\u00b0 until brown.
