Apricot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small box orange Jell-O
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
    1 small jar apricot tapioca (baby food)
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 small carton Cool Whip (8 oz.)
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix Jell-O and crushed pineapple in saucepan.
    Simmer until Jell-O dissolves. Add sugar, apricots and cream cheese.
    Let cool. Fold in Cool Whip. Cover top with grated nuts (1 cup chopped). When chilled, cut into squares.
