Baked Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped fine
    1 clove garlic, minced
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 cans tomato soup
    2 c. water
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 lb. uncooked spaghetti
    1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook onion and garlic in shortening; add beef, stirring to keep meat separated.
    Mix in the soup, water and chili powder. Cook a few minutes longer. Break spaghetti into 1-inch pieces. Heap into a greased 2-quart casserole.
    Pour in the meat mixture and stir until blended.
    Cover and bake 1 hour (without stirring) in a 350\u00b0 oven. Remove cover and stir.
    Top with cheese and cook 15 minutes longer or until cheese melts.
    Serves 6.
