Banana-Lemon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. sifted cake flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Sift together cake flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix in alternately with milk and vanilla.
Pour in 2 (9-inch) layer pans.
Bake 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
While cake is baking, prepare the following Lemon Filling or use 1 box prepared lemon pie filling or pudding.
