Broccoli-Rice Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 small onion, diced
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
8 oz. jar whipped cheese spread
2 pkg. chopped broccoli (frozen)
cornflake crumbs, browned in margarine
2 c. Minute rice
2 c. water
Preparation

Saute onions in margarine or butter.
Add rice and brown with onions about 5 minutes.
Add salt and water and cover until water is absorbed.
Cook broccoli according to package directions.
Do not overcook.
Mix rice, broccoli, soup and cheese spread together.
Put mixture in large greased baking dish and top with crumbs.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven about 20 minutes.
