Yankee Jambalaya - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. smoked sausage (hot or mild)
1 whole chicken
4 ribs celery, chopped small
1 large onion, thin sliced
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. black pepper
3 c. old fashioned rice
Preparation

In an 8-quart pot, boil the chicken until it falls off the bone.
Strain the broth and debone the chicken.
Slice the sausage in about 1/4 to 3/8-inch round slices and in the same empty pot, fry in small amount of oil.
