Old Fashioned Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. Crisco or 1 c. butter and 1 c. Crisco
2 3/4 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
8 eggs
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Add alternately with milk and flour; mix well.
Add flavoring.
Beat 3 minutes really well.
Put in pan.
Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 300\u00b0.
