Sour Milk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 to 4 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. sour milk
Preparation
    Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add cold shortening and mix with hand until it looks like coarse cornmeal. Add milk, stir about 20 seconds. Turn out on lightly floured board. Knead about 20 strokes. (Add flour if needed.) Roll out to 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch thick. Cut. Place in greased pan. Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) 12 to 15 minutes.
