Potato Dumplings Or Chicken Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 white potatoes
    3 1/2 c. water
    1 1/3 c. plain flour, sifted
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. butter
    milk
Preparation
    Using a pressure cooker, cook potatoes in water.
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
    Beat egg; add milk.
    Combine mixtures.
    Drop batter from spoon into juice of potatoes or chicken broth. (Take out chicken.)
    Cook uncovered 5 minutes. Cover.
    Steam for 5 minutes without vent.
    Remove dumplings onto hot platter.
