Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
pinch of salt
1 1/4 tsp. soda

Preparation

Cream well sugars, butter and Crisco.
Add and blend well eggs and vanilla.
Blend in well the flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt.
Make into small balls about the size of a walnut.
Mash with a glass dipped in sugar (bottom of glass).
Bake at 375\u00b0 until done, about 8 to 10 minutes.
These sure are good and crisp.
