Eggnog Wreath - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. milk
    4 eggs, separated
    2 Tbsp. rum (or rum flavoring, 2 tsp.)
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped
Preparation
    In medium saucepan,
    mix
    gelatin
    with
    half of sugar. Blend in milk and egg
    yolks.
    Let
    stand 1 minute.
    Stir over low
    heat until
    gelatin
    is\tcompletely
    dissolved,\tabout
    5 minutes.
    Add rum
    and
    nutmeg.
    Chill,
    stirring occasionally until mixture mounds slightly
    when
    dropped from a spoon.
    In large bowl, beat egg
    whites with cream of tartar until foamy. Beat in remaining sugar,
    1
    tablespoon at a time until whites are glossy and stand in\tsoft peaks.
    Fold in gelatin mixture and whipped cream.
    Turn into
    6
    cup ring mold.
    Chill until firm.\tMakes 8 servings.
