Shredded Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. chuck roast
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. vinegar
    3 medium onions
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Place everything in roaster.
    Cut
    onions
    medium fine. If roast is frozen, cook at 350\u00b0
    for 1 hour.\tReduce temperature
    to 325\u00b0 and cook 4 to
    5
    hours
    longer.
    If\troast
    is thawed, cook at 250\u00b0 for 6 hours.
    Use
    fork to shred meat, if necessary, after cooking.
